History

     Regent Plastic Industrial Limited is solely owned, founded in Hong Kong in 1985. The original investment in the company was HK$ 60,000 (about US$ 8,000), with 3 injection machines that were used for the company's plastic injection business. By 1988, Regent's manufacturing capacity had expanded after the purchase of 14 injection machines.

In 1991, Regent moved the manufacturing section to BaoAn, Shenzhen, China. The new factory in China was 3,000 square meters, equipped with 30 advanced plastic injection machines, and employed 200 workers. The company's high standards and strict quality control continued to build industry recognition. The customer base kept expanding and included high standard household appliance clients around the world. In 1995,  Regent was awarded ISO 9002 by TUV CERT product service, certifying that the company and its product quality had surpassed the international standards.

By 2002, Regent had expanded the factory size up to 15,000 square meters, equipped with 77 advanced Japanese injection machines such as JSW (35 TON - 650 TON), and employed more than 500 skilled workers running efficient production lines. Meanwhile, the company continued to enhance its quality control and purchased advanced measuring instruments, such as CMM, Projector, and Chroma Meter. The new SPC (Statistical Process Control) and capability methods (i.e. Cpk & GR&R) were adopted and used. In 2003, Regent was certified ISO 9001: 2000 by TUV CERT.

In the end of 2004,  Regent Plastic Industrial Limited moved to a new facility with the size of 30,000 sq. meters. The capacity of the company doubled (with 102 advanced injection machines from 35 TON to 850 TON) and extended the services from initial tooling to ultimate assembly. With the new facility, the company provides customers better products and services. Today, Regent Plastic Industrial Limited specializes in the plastic engineering from molding, coloration, plastic injection molding, silk screen and pad print, and assembly. The company manufactures Home Appliances, Power Tools, Vacuum Cleaners, Computer Components, Printer and Copier Components, and Automotive Products.
